The long anticipated Aspark Owl, the first Japanese full- electric hyper car, is finally available for purchase. First unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2017, the production version of the Owl made its world premiere in Dubai two years later.
Now, the company announced that all major performance, safety and durability tests were successfully completed and “the Owl can be seen running on the road.” Lauded as “the fastest accelerating car in the world”, the Owl can go from 0 to 60 mph in 1.69 seconds. According to Aspark, the power of The Owl is nearly the double of Formula 1 cars. The production version of the Owl is limited to only 50 cars worldwide. Each one will be fully customizable, and the base version has been priced at €2,900,000.
